Medical visits and expert reports
The IEM is a centre specialising in medical examinations, legal expert reports and consultancy in Underwater and Hyperbaric Medicine. Our services are provided by qualified doctors who are accredited in this specialty, in accordance with Article 25 of the Ministerial Order of 14 October 1997 on safety regulations for diving activities.
For medical consultations, the following documentation is required:
- Diving qualification, if applicable.
- Medical reports relating to the consultation.
- Recent medical tests regarding the patient's state of health, if available.
- Chronological summary of dives or hyperbaric activities (depth, time, gases used, water temperature, etc.) related to the reason for consultation.
- Other documents depending on the nature of the enquiry.

Our usual opening hours are from 9:00 to 18:00 Monday to Thursday and from 9:00 to 15:00 on Fridays.
Prices
The 1st medical consultation / visit due to issues related to diving activities, and hyperbaric environments in general, it has a cost of 100€.
The 2nd visit, and subsequent ones, if necessary depending on the patient and their progress, have a cost of £60 per visit.
Expert reports, whether judicial or not, will require a specific quote depending on the case.
Should a legal medical report be required, the medical consultation is a prerequisite and is essential prior to requesting the report.
